MIGRATION
PROCESS FOR CONTACT PERSONS (ADMINISTRATIVE CONTACT AND/OR TECHNICAL
CONTACT)
Step 1 - Contact Person to check for Contact Person’s MYNIC handle(s) in MYNIC’s domain name lookup facility for all domain names.
Step 2 - Contact Person to submit a letter (via fax and followed by post) to MYNIC clearly stating for each MYNIC handle, the 3 choices of preferred userIDs (indicating the level of preference for each userID) and temporary password. Please click here for format of letter.
In the event the Contact Person’s current e-mail is different from the MYNIC lookup, please provide clear instruction on the change of the e-mail address.
Step 3 - MYNIC to create userID and temporary passwords for Contact Person and confirm creation with Contact Person via e-mail as stated in Contact Person's letter (see Step 2).

- Upon receiving e-mail confirmation of creation of userID and passwords
from
MYNIC, Contact Person to change password(s) immediately.
