The Asian Domain Name Dispute Resolution Centre based in Beijing and Hong Kong will be jointly organizing a Conference on "Alternative Dispute Resolution in Internet and E-Commerce: Asian Perspective" together with the Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration.

MYNIC is pleased to be one of the supporters of this inaugural Joint Conference which will be held on 4th October 2005 (Tuesday) from 8.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. at the Nikko Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

The objective of this Joint Conference is to empower participants with knowledge about the latest internet developments in Asia including Generic Top Level Domains such as .com , .org and .net and Country-Code Top Level Domains such as .cn , .hk and .my. Participants will also have the chance to understand the various unique and innovative dispute resolution processes available for the resolution of domain name and e-commerce disputes.

Seventeen (17) speakers from China, Hong Kong, United States of America, Indonesia and Malaysia will be providing an overview of internet developments in Asia and the use of Alternative Dispute Resolution processes for the resolution of domain name disputes as well as domain names and the legal issues involved.
